'EmberFenland’s journey began with one vision: sharing true Neapolitan pizza with London. The Rossi family inaugurated our small, intimate pizzeria in 1985, with recipes that have been passed down for many generations.
Our founder, Marco Rossi, mastered the pizza craft during her time in Italy, learning from esteemed pizzaiolos in Naples, the cradle of pizza. After her time in Italy, she came back to the UK, intent on replicating the Neapolitan pizza wonder, utilizing time-honored techniques and the choicest ingredients.
Starting as a cozy 12-seat restaurant, we grew into a well-loved community fixture. Yet, we've remained true to our original commitment to excellence and authenticity. Our dough is prepared fresh each day, we adhere to the traditional wood-fire oven baking methods, and we continue to seek the best ingredients possible.
Presently, 'EmberFenland' is still in the hands of the Rossi family, with the children of our founder now at the helm of our enthusiastic team. We've included a few contemporary enhancements, but at the core, we’re still about conjuring delightful, bona fide pizza that gathers folks together.
